It has been 25 years since Maine had a new, built-from-the-ground-up community hospital. On December 11, 2001, the 13-year dream of many of Mid Coast Maine’s visionary civic and medical community leaders became a reality.

A state-of-the-art hospital and medical center facility opened in the center of our service area halfway between Bath and Brunswick. It offers the finest acute care, inpatient, and outpatient medical facilities in all of New England.
